FieldWise ("the App") is developed and maintained by an independent developer. This policy describes how the App handles your data. The short version: we collect nothing.
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. No account creation is required. No names, email addresses, or identifiers are gathered.
The App requests microphone access to record voice notes for job documentation. Speech recognition is used to transcribe recordings into text. All audio processing and transcription happens entirely on your device using Apple's Speech framework. No audio or transcribed text is ever transmitted to any server.
The App requests camera and photo library access to capture and import photos for job documentation. All image processing (including AI analysis) is performed entirely on your device using Apple's on-device models. No images are ever transmitted to any server.
The App uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models for voice note analysis, photo descriptions, and quote generation. All AI processing happens locally on your device. No data is sent to any cloud service.
The App makes no network requests. It operates entirely offline. There are no APIs, no analytics endpoints, and no telemetry of any kind.
The App contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no tracking pixels. We do not use services like Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDK, or any similar tools.
The App offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade via Apple's In-App Purchase system. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. The developer does not have access to your payment information.
Your jobs, customers, materials, quotes, invoices, photos, voice notes, and preferences are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. This data is never transmitted externally and is removed when you delete the App. You can export a JSON backup at any time from Settings.
The App does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. Since no personal data is collected from any user, the App is safe for use by all ages.
If this policy is updated, the effective date at the top will be revised. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
